KEN LUM AT THE ROSENWALD-WOLF GALLERY

The Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia has included Ken Lum in their new show “Do You, Ms. Jones?” Exhibited in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Ken Lum's text and sculptures bring attention to local martyrs for civil rights, including busts of the only child survivor of the MOVE bombing, Birdie Africa, and of model and AIDS victim Gia Carangi. He is featured among several other artists in this politically-inspiring exhbition, including Sam Durant, Hans Haacke,  Zoe Leonard, Dave Mckenzie, and Hank Willis Thomas.

“Do You, Ms. Jones?” runs from June 24—July 29. For more information, visit the UArts website here.
